We had an amazing Christmas getaway at a charming cottage in an idyllic village! The cottage was beautifully decorated and clean, with excellent kitchen facilities. The beds were really comfortable, and we were grateful for the throws in the living room in the evenings. The location was great, with easy access to buses that run to and from Hebden Bridge. The drivers were friendly and helpful, giving advice on the best tickets for our stay. The local residents were also very friendly and gave impromptu history lessons about the village. We loved exploring the fantastic views and buildings from a by-gone era.
There were a few minor drawbacks during our stay. The cottage is located on the main road, so there was some traffic noise, especially due to roadworks on a neighboring road.

Cozy cottage with everything I needed, including two nice local pubs and a fabulous cafe. Loved pretending to be a local. Parking and unloading luggage were not a hassle at all.
Oh, the joy of a precarious staircase and the thrill of parking on a narrow road. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

I had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in Heptonstall. The location was perfect, right in the center of the village with easy access to the tearoom and pubs. The cottage itself was cute and characterful, with three floors and a separate attic bedroom for added privacy. It was also very clean and checking in and out was a breeze with the keybox. The shower cubical was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The village was a delight to explore, with breathtaking views and friendly locals. I highly recommend this cottage for a cozy and enjoyable stay in Heptonstall.
I did have some difficulties with the staircase, as it was a bit precarious, especially for older people. However, there was plenty of room under the stairs to store luggage.
